How to list a homestay on Cameron4U

What you need

• The address and postcode of a house in Cameron Highlands
• Photos of the living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom
• Weekday and weekend prices, a cleaning fee and a security deposit, if any
• An electricity or water bill for that address, 3 months old or less

Steps

1. In vendor mode, open Listings, add a new listing and choose Homestay.
2. Fill in the address, postcode and area. Drag the map pin to the door. The pin must be inside Cameron Highlands.
3. Choose the house type, and enter the guests, bedrooms, beds and bathrooms.
4. Choose the amenities and the label: Muslim only or Open to all.
5. Upload the 4 required photos. You can add up to 50 photos.
6. Set the prices, cleaning fee and deposit.
7. Choose the check-in times, the check-in method and the house rules, such as smoking, pets and parties.
8. Check the title and description written automatically, and change them if needed.
9. Upload the bill, agree to the terms and press Submit for approval.

Check-in choices

• Standard times: in at 3:00 pm, out at 12:00 pm
• Flexi times: in at 12:00 pm, out at 9:00 am
• Self check-in: you write instructions such as a key box code. Guests see them only on the check-in day.
• With the owner: guests choose when they expect to arrive, up to 10:00 pm.

Good to know

• Every homestay needs its own bill, to protect guests from fake listings.
• The full address is shown only after a guest has paid.
• Save & exit keeps your listing, so you can continue later.
