How to book a homestay in Cameron Highlands
Search by area and dates, check the price and house rules, then pay in full. The booking is confirmed as soon as the payment succeeds.
Cameron4U homestays are in Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Kea Farm, Ringlet, Tringkap and other parts of Cameron Highlands.
Steps
- On the Explore tab choose Homestay, then enter the area, dates and number of guests.
- Open a homestay you like. Check the photos, label, house rules, check-in method and the price for your dates.
- Press Book. Without an account you will be asked to sign up first.
- In Booking details, check the dates and guests. For check-in with the owner, choose when you expect to arrive.
- If you wish, request an early check-in or late check-out, or add a motorbike to your stay.
- Tick your agreement to the terms and press Continue.
- Pay by FPX. Your dates are held for 10 minutes while you pay.
- Once the payment succeeds, the booking is confirmed at once. The full address and check-in instructions appear in the Trips tab.
Good to know
- Payment in full: you pay 100% when you book.
- First to pay gets the dates: the dates go to whoever pays first.
- Security deposit: when a homestay has one, it is paid with the booking and returned after check-out if there is no claim.
- Muslim only label: you tick a declaration before paying, and the vendor may ask to see your MyKad at check-in.
- Early check-in or late check-out: RM 50 an hour, up to 3 hours, when the night next to your stay is free.
